ViitorCloud built Wellbase, a corporate wellness platform that brings wellness centers, businesses, and individual users into one system, with real-time class data and corporate rate negotiation in a single dashboard.
Workplace burnout has made an employee wellness platform a real business priority, but the market that serves it is fragmented. Wellness centers, corporate buyers, and individual users all operate in separate channels, with no shared place to meet. The client wanted to fix that with a single corporate wellness platform, and the obstacles were practical.
Negotiating corporate rates was slow and manual. A business that wanted to offer wellness benefits had to approach many providers one at a time, with no central way to compare or agree terms. Onboarding was another friction point: users needed a quick, simple way to find and enroll in wellness services near them, not a complicated sign-up. And the platform could only be useful if it showed live class information, which meant pulling real-time data from an external system rather than maintaining a stale internal copy.
The client also needed to prove the idea worked. The first goal was a Proof of Concept solid enough to put in front of real wellness centers and corporate clients and start acquiring customers.
The client chose ViitorCloud for its experience building web and mobile applications and its familiarity with HubSpot CRM. We designed and developed the Wellbase web platform around a few clear decisions.
React and Laravel for a scalable build: We built the front end in React and the backend in Laravel, a pairing that gives responsive user experience and room for the platform to grow as the business adds users and features.
Mindbody API for real-time class data: Instead of maintaining its own class listings, the platform connects to the Mindbody API, so users see live class details and expanded search results pulled straight from the source.
Simplified, location-based onboarding: We built an enrollment flow that lets users find and join wellness programs based on their locality with minimal steps, lowering the barrier to first use.
HubSpot CRM integration for sales and clients: We connected the platform to HubSpot so the team can manage interactions with corporate clients and wellness centers and track sales in one place.
One dashboard for corporate wellness programs: Wellbase brings wellness centers and businesses together so companies can negotiate rates and run their corporate wellness programs from a single dashboard instead of chasing providers individually.
The honest difficulty. The hard part was not any single feature but joining three groups with different needs in one workable system. Wellness centers, corporate buyers, and individual users each want different things from the same product, and the third-party Mindbody integration meant the live class data had to stay accurate even though it came from outside the platform. Getting that data flow dependable, while keeping onboarding simple enough for casual users, took more care than the standalone screens suggested.
