Project Overview

ViitorCloud built Be Mobile, a web platform that lets users run a virtual phone number for international calling services while keeping their real SIM private, all managed from one dashboard.

The Challenge

Be Mobile wanted to sell something specific: the ability to call across borders cheaply without handing out a real SIM number. Their customers were privacy-conscious people and frequent international callers who wanted to manage several foreign numbers at once. The product idea was sound, but there was no platform to deliver it. Users had no way to buy a virtual phone number, route calls through it, or keep their personal SIM details hidden. An international calling app or web service was the obvious answer, but none existed for Be Mobile yet.

The harder part was trust. A service built around privacy and payments cannot afford a weak sign-in flow or an insecure checkout. If account security or payment handling looked shaky, the privacy promise fell apart and so did the business. Be Mobile needed a website that felt modern and simple to a non-technical user, yet held up to real security scrutiny underneath.

On top of that, the platform had to let one person manage up to four international numbers from a single account, work cleanly on phones and desktops, and process subscription payments reliably. Each of those is a small project on its own. Shipping them together as one coherent product was the actual challenge.

The Solution

As the web development company behind the build, ViitorCloud worked closely with Be Mobile and built the platform around a few deliberate decisions.

  • Laravel backend for account and number logic: The core of the product is managing multiple international numbers, subscriptions, and account state per user. Laravel gave a structured, well-supported backend to model that logic and keep it maintainable as features grow.

  • A single dashboard for multi-number management: Rather than scatter settings across pages, we built one dashboard where a user adds, removes, or updates up to four international numbers and handles subscriptions and account settings in one place.

  • Secure authentication tied to the privacy promise: Registration and login were built with encrypted data storage and validation checks, so the account that protects a user's real SIM identity is itself hard to compromise.

  • Integrated payment gateway for subscriptions: A reliable payment gateway was wired in so users could subscribe and manage billing without leaving the platform or facing a clumsy checkout.

  • VAPT before launch: We ran Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing on the platform to find and close security gaps prior to go-live, which matters when the whole pitch is privacy and trust.

The honest difficulty. The real tension was between a clean, friendly interface and the security work happening behind it. A privacy product has to feel effortless to a tech-savvy user while enforcing strict authentication, encrypted storage, and validated payments underneath. Most of the careful effort went into making the secure path also the simple path, so that protecting a real SIM number never felt like a chore to the person using it.

Value Proposition

What the Be Mobile platform gives the business and its users:

  • Privacy by design: Customers manage international numbers without exposing their real SIM information, which is the core reason they sign up.

  • One place to manage everything: A single dashboard handles numbers, subscriptions, and account settings, so users are not juggling tools.

  • Trustworthy payments: A reliable, integrated payment gateway makes subscribing and managing billing straightforward and secure.

  • A consistent experience on any device: Responsive design means the service works the same on a phone or a desktop, widening the audience Be Mobile can reach.

The Results

What the launch delivered:

  • A live platform for private international calling: that lets users in Kenya call across borders cost-effectively without revealing their real SIM information.

  • Management of up to four international numbers: per user, with subscriptions and account settings handled from a single dashboard.

  • A security-tested foundation: validated through VAPT, with secure authentication and an integrated payment gateway supporting the privacy promise.

Conclusion

Be Mobile shows what it takes to ship a privacy product: pair a simple, responsive interface with serious security work underneath, then put control in one dashboard. The result is a platform where managing several international numbers stays easy for the user and safe by design, giving Be Mobile a credible way to offer cost-effective international calling in Kenya.
